There are a few home remedies that have worked for centuries before high profile dermatologists and products existed. Although using toothpaste, salt and vinegar, and simply drinking water seems questionable, you may want to consider your options. If you've tried every other option and you have yet to see improvement, it's unlikely that these home remedies are going to hurt, but hopefully, they will help you just as they have helped many others.
Toothpaste is the most convenient home remedy that I have to offer you. Toothpaste is already in your house, no purchase necessary. In fact, toothpaste is already in your bathroom! A problem many teenagers encounter with their acne program is forgetting to wash their face before bed. Along with the help of this home remedy, that is no longer an issue. Every night before bed, you always brush your teeth, and when you're finished with that, it will not be hard to remember to apply a little to your face.
It is unsure what ingredients are responsible for this home remedies success, but the process is simple. You must rub a tiny amount on your blemishes and problematic areas before bed and simply wash it off when you wash your face in the morning. After trying everything without any improvement, it is possible a simple home remedy is what you needed all along.
Salt and Vinegar is a term that teenagers know well. Salt and vinegar chips are very popular with only teenagers due to the sour and bitter taste that adults find unappealing. However, not many teenagers have heard that phrase in context with acne treatment. It may be easier to break it down and consider the facts. The vinegar content in the chips is diluted and it's still too strong for many to handle. How can i get rid of acne and prevent it without using products like proactive and neutrogena?
alright well first, i'd start saving like a buck a day or something. because if you're that embarrased, you should seriously get something to help out and i would suggest that you use clean and clear continuous control because it really helps fight pimples all day long and its about 7 bucks so after a week or two weeks of saving you should have enough and it will last you several months.
but until then, the only alternative methods i've heard of are kind of drastic. to seriously prevent pimples you have to stop eating dairy and animal byproducts. milk, cheese, BEEF .. all that has to go. you're basically cutting off ALL the fat that enters your body. now although its not unhealthy its not at all cost effective. you have to buy all sorts of calcium supplements and this and that to replace the nutrients you've lost. and on top of that, you wont see results for months. i mean MONTHS.
so if you're not looking for something absolutely drastic, try cutting down on things with oils. try baking instead of pan frying or deep frying, homecooked instead of fast food, low sodium, eat a hefty serving of greens, and most importantly DRINK TONS OF WATER! drink water with every meal and atleast two more bottles throughout the day. the more you flush your system with water the better off you'll be.... but don't try to drink too much all at once because thats dangerous. you want to hydrate but not over hydrate.
You are going to have to break down and find some products (Generic can work too) Walmart sells a proactiv line that is helpful or CVS has a line too - sadly you need the products to use to kill the bacteria (That starts 10 days prior to an actual break out)
and nothing around the house is strong enough.
You can try a hot compress
and rubbing alcohol but again it's not going to prevent the break outs.
No, toothpaste is not for acne (sorry).
If it was we would all be using it happily but it's for teeth.
neutrogena oil free acne wash is good
cheaper then proactive %26amp;%26amp; i think works
just *** good, just leaved your face dry
in cold days so aply lotion since its not
to oily. oils cuase pimples. plus avoid
chocolate %26amp;%26amp; fried %26amp;%26amp; salty foods. there
all oils get under your skin after eating
uuummmm if you dont have those
products now wash your face, take
toothpaste %26amp;%26amp; cover your face with it but
not for to long or itll burn. %26amp;%26amp; wash it off after 5
mins. it works good for black heads :D
you can also mix allot of squeezed
lemon juice in a little water and blend cucumbers
and make a face mask. and wash off after 5 mins
if your doing one, dont do the other one or your
skinn will get messed up. do the organic home made
mask when your not using nutregena. %26amp;%26amp; when
ev your doing this youll have to do it 2 to 4 times a day
once you stop, itll come back worst then the first
I don't really know if you have any health insurance that would pay for that. I'm from Switzerland and I had the same problem. So I went to the dermatologist and he gave me 5 products to use (a wash-off ';der-med';, a day cream ';dalacin';, a night cream ';akne-mycin';, pills ';tretinac'; and pantothen). I just had a mild acne, but my healt insurance still payed for everything. Otherwise it would have cost me like a 100 dollars all together.
CETAPHIL SKIN CLEANSER is a great ph balanced cleanser that won't irritate your skin and it is the #1 recommended skin cleanser by dermatologists. I use it morning and night. You can also by the generic version of it for a cheaper price.
I use apple cider vinegar for those occasional breakouts and I swear it works overnight! It is full of alpha-hydroxy acids. Just dip a q-tip into some apple cider vinegar and use it as a spot treatment. I also dilute it with distilled water and use it as an overnight toner. The toner is 1 part apple cider vinegar to 8 parts pure water. Make sure that it's USDA organic though! The other stuff isn't the same.
I also use organic CAFFEINE FREE green tea as a toner in the morning. Just make green tea like you normally would with pure/distilled water and make sure its strong in color. It really refreshes your skin and has tons of antioxidants. Use it under an oil free SPF moisturizer. I suggest CETAPHIL DAILY FACIAL MOISTURIZER w SPF 15, but again, as long as your skin cleanser and lotion are non-irritating or PH balanced you'll be fine.
Good luck! Hope I was of some help to you!
Oh yeah, and as far as makeup goes, try physicians formula's organic line. You can buy it at walmart. It's a cheaper alternative to bare minerals and it works great at covering up problem skin WITHOUT IRRITATING! I love it, and it is by far the best makeup I've used. I don't even use that much makeup anymore just because my skin has improved so much.

rubbing alcohol...and wash your face with soap...in the morning and night. and if you get a pimple put tooth paste on it. but rubbing alcohol will dry up the oil.
Call your Doctor %26amp; get a low dose Antibiotic ordered, Doxycycline is taken twice a day it will cure %26amp; prevent acne break outs.
