I have the sensitive skin formula of the scrub and Acne stress control power foam wash. Is it ok to use these at the same time?Is it ok to use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Neutrogena Cleansers at the same time?
try not to mix too many different brands together, specially if u have sensitive skin, I do use both brands that u mentioned, I use, Apricot scrub, and from neutrogena, I use a cream called '; on the spot'; just put a lil on the blemish and watch it disappear fast, you'll see the difference overnight. Good luck.Is it ok to use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Neutrogena Cleansers at the same time?
Watch out for scrubs on acne. it just irritates it. stay with the foaming wash.
for masks use clay based , dont let it dry too much unless it's recommended by your consultant, or on the directions . Peroxides %26amp; salicylic acids are good for this. Dr's will give you anitbiodics, this leads to other problems. good luck.
Despite whatever both brands may claim they are both pretty harsh and dry your skin out-- especially if you have sensitive skin.
It's probably not a good idea to use both at the same time as this will cause your skin to dry up and then become super oily. Try using only one, or switching to one on, say, the weekends, or one in the morning and one in the evening. (Which may even then be pushing it.)
It's more important to keep your skin moisturized by using an oil-free moisturizer and drinking a lot of water, which will also keep it clearer and brighter. Over-scrubbing your skin will actually make your acne worse rather then better.
if you have sensitive skin stives will probably hurt you...my skin is sensitive but not crazy sensitive and when i use it i rub it on my face for about 10 sec before it starts hurting me ...LOL..scrubs can be harsh ...i would use the foam wash daily ..and the scrub once a week...used to often scrubs can be really bad...
Scrubs can actually make your acne worse by irrating your skin. Try a Neutrogena acne mask instead.
